WILKINSBURG, Pa. — A man confessed to a shooting in Wilkinsburg that likely left a 23-year-old man paralyzed, police said.
Police were called shortly after 11:30 p.m. Tuesday to the intersection of Craft Avenue and Morrow Street.

Officers encountered a 23-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds inside a crashed SUV, police said.He was taken to hospital and was last listed in critical but stable condition, investigators said.
Police said the victim was driving backward in an attempt to avoid being shot when he crashed into parked vehicles.
Police said 22-year-old Gregory Ashan Comans, of McKees Rocks, called 911 and claimed to be the shooter. Police said Comans told them he was arguing with the victim and fired his gun until it was empty. Comans called police minutes after the shooting and drove to Bates Street, where he was arrested without incident by Pittsburgh police.
Officers charged him with aggravated assault and reckless endangerment. He was taken to the Allegheny County Jail to be arraigned.
