WILKINSBURG, Pa. — Police are warning residents about a series of car break-ins in Wilkinsburg.
Investigators are asking residents to keep an eye out for people trying to break into vehicles around Peebles Street, Penn Avenue, Savannah Street and Pennwood Street.
Channel 11 has also learned police are urging people to keep vehicle doors locked, to keep valuables out of view or take them inside.

Police also suggest vehicle owners keep their registration and insurance cards inside their wallets, not inside the vehicle.
Anyone who sees suspicious activity is asked to call 911.
