The James Street Gastropub and Speakeasy in the North Side is closing after noise complaints.

The owner said it's just a few neighbors who have complained, but he said he can't fight state law.

"We've had some issues  with noise violations with state law over the past year and a half.  And recently, it got to the point where we no longer felt comfortable with our situation and we are going to have to close our doors because of it," Kevin Saftner, general manager of James Street Gastropub and Speakeasy, said.

He told Channel 11 there are no plans to relocate.

The gastropub and speakeasy will close on November 11.
