PITTSBURGH — A portion of the Blue Line-Library will be closed Friday evening through Sunday so that crews can repair damage caused by this week’s storms and flooding.

The Port Authority of Allegheny County said the closure will take place on the light rail line between Lytle Station in Bethel Park and Library Station in South Park. The closure will go into effect at 6 p.m. Friday.
Shuttle buses will operate between the Lytle and Library stations during the closure. Transfers from rail vehicles to the shuttles will be free.
