NEW CASTLE, Pa. — Four homes were hit by gunfire early Saturday morning in New Castle, police said.
Multiple shots were fired shortly before 12:30 a.m. in the area of Rose Avenue, where investigators placed at least 13 evidence markers in an alley between Rose Avenue and Adams Street.

No one was injured.
The incident remains under investigation.
