PITTSBURGH — Eat’n Park Hospitality Group, which owns the restaurant, announced the closure this week saying it was “not an easy one.”
Six Penn opened in 2005 and was one of the first restaurants to help revitalize the Cultural District. In recent years, it has faced increasing competition.

“Closing Six Penn will enable us to focus more resources on the growth of these multi-location restaurant brands (Porch and Hello Bistro), as well as our core Eat’n Park Restaurants and Parkhurst Dining businesses,” the company said in a statement.
Eat’n Park Hospitality Group said all Six Penn employees were offered positions at other restaurants.
