'This Is Us' stars talk season 2 premiere

The “This Is Us” season two premiere is on Tuesday and everyone wants to know the answer to the question "How does Jack Pearson die?"

That answer will be revealed this season and is a good reason to make sure you tune in.

Milo Ventimiglia, who plays Jack Pearson, said he wouldn't give us any hints, wanting to focus instead on the life that Jack lived.

“The marker of death is just a moment, but a life is an entire novel, if people focus on how he lived and how he was with his wife and kids, that the most important lesson,” Ventimiglia said.

“I think there's real cathartic potential in the show. I think people love to feel their feelings. The fact they are able to see a bit of themselves in these characters,” said Mandy Moore, who plays Rebecca Pearson.

“I think it's important for a television show to promote kindness and strength and connection between differences,” Ventimiglia said.

Get the box of tissues ready.

“The different challenges and obstacles they are going through. I think it forces you to hold up a mirror in your own life and the choices that you've made,” Moore said.
