Unattended package prompts evacuation at Arnold Palmer Regional Airport

LATROBE, Pa. - The terminal at Arnold Palmer Regional Airport in Latrobe was evacuated as a precaution Saturday afternoon after a package was found unattended, emergency dispatchers said.

The package was noticed about 1:30 p.m. As per standard protocol, the terminal was evacuated and authorities were called, dispatchers said.

People were moved to another building at the airport until the “all clear” was given shortly before 3:30 p.m.
