"She walked right past my car. I pulled over to make sure she's OK," a Channel 11 viewer can be heard saying in video that she started recording after the woman was allegedly stunned by University of Pittsburgh police.

The University of Pittsburgh confirms the woman escaped UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Oakland late Monday morning.

"What the video does not show is that, moments before this footage was taken, the woman involved was running against traffic on Forbes Avenue, endangering her life as well (as) the lives of others," a University of Pittsburgh spokesperson said in a statement Tuesday night. "University police are reviewing the use of a Taser in this situation, as is routine."

The identity of the woman has not yet been released, and it has not been determined, if any, she is facing.
