SAINT JOHN, Ind. — A high school teacher in Indiana is behind bars after a video that appeared to show her making lines of a powdery substance, believed by police to be cocaine, in a classroom was posted online.
Samantha Cox, an English teacher in St. John, is charged with felony possession of a controlled substance.
"Lake Central is a safe school. You know, we have a lot of pride. We love our school a lot. And for something like this to happen, it's just, it's very unusual," student Michael Sanchez said.
The school notified parents about the incident in a robocall.
