A local church and business are helping flood victims in Butler County by buying them new washers and dryers.
Many residents had their appliances destroyed in the flooding three weeks ago, and many people have gone without washers and dryers since then.
On Thursday, a truck delivered 40 free washers and dryers so flood victims can wash their clothes at home again.

"They have come to give me a washer and dryer to help put me back on my fee. This has been very devastating,” said Nora Barker.
Starting Fresh Rentals & Appliances LLC of Cranberry Township partnered with Crossroad Community, Inc. to give people the items.
“People are very surprised and happy, overwhelmed. Some people went through hard times, so they're very relieved to see that we're here to help them out,” said Garrett Trevor Crocker, of Starting Fresh.
Barker said she thinks the worst is over.
“We’re moving forward. The blessing they gave me today is very much appreciated,” she said.
Organizers said they are continuing to raise funds to provide more appliances, including furnaces and hot water tanks, to even more flood victims.
