With Pirates, Pens in town, Liberty Bridge to close this weekend

Here we go again, Pittsburgh.

For the second weekend in a row, PennDOT is closing the Liberty Bridge from Friday to Monday. Just like last weekend, the bridge will close in both directions. One inbound lane of the Liberty Tunnel, as well as both outbound lanes of the tunnel, will remain open.

The closure begins Friday, May 19, at 8 p.m. and ends Monday, May 22, at 5 a.m. Major events in the city this weekend include a Pirates three-game series against Philadelphia, a Chance the Rapper concert at PPG Paints Arena on Saturday night and a Penguins playoff game Sunday afternoon.
