PITTSBURGH — Police are searching for two men who broke into a home in Pittsburgh’s Highland Park neighborhood.
The break-in happened around 1 a.m. Wednesday at a home on Sheridan Avenue.
According to police, a woman who lives in the home told them she was sleeping when she heard a noise from the back door. She got out of bed and saw two armed men in her kitchen.

She told investigators she ran into her 9-year-old son’s room.
One of the burglars entered the room and ordered her and her son onto the floor while they searched the home, police said.
The burglars left with cash.
A neighbor said this is the second time a burglary has happened at this place in the last year.
