Woman riddles restaurant with bullets after she was cut off from bar

TRAFFORD, Pa. — A woman is facing felony charges for riddling the front of a restaurant in Trafford with bullets after she was cut off from the bar, police said.

Jamie Dawson fired about 5-6 rounds at Parente's on Cavitt Avenue overnight Monday, according to police. The shots shattered glass and left behind bullet holes.

Police said Dawson was angry because she was kicked out of the restaurant for allegedly becoming too intoxicated. A bartender was able to lock the door and called 911 as the shots rang out.

Dawson was arrested at her mother’s house on Fairmont Avenue.

Channel 11 News learned that Dawson had other recent run-ins with the law. She was charged earlier in March for two separate DUI incidents in Allegheny County.
