Are you in the market for a one-eyed, one-horned, cuddling, purple people licker?
A Texas animal shelter is riding the trending wave of the Storm Area 51 movement to have people storm animal rescue groups instead and adopt one of the dogs or cats that are in need of a fur-ever home.
Longview Animal Care and Adoption Center in Longview, Texas, has created its own alien invasion by using pipe cleaners and googly eyes to make the pets their own extra-terrestrial costumes and calling the shelter Area 51's secret second location, KLTV reported.

The Longview shelter isn't the only one looking to have its resident "aliens" adopted.
The Oklahoma City Animal Shelter posted a similar plea last week, saying "We have great animals ready to protect you from the Area 51 aliens," The Houston Chronicle reported.

Aptly-named Mulder knew the truth was out there after Pet Pal Animal Shelter gave the pup an out of this world accessory complete with his own little green man. He was adopted shortly after, shelter workers said on Facebook.
