The actor's father, Victor Boyce, announced the foundation in a tweet Monday night.

"Let’s not talk about it, let’s BE about it! Let’s do good as Cameron would," he wrote. "Let’s keep his legacy alive!"

Boyce, known for his roles in the Disney Channel show "Jessie" and the TV movie series "Descendants," was found unresponsive in his North Hollywood home on July 6. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 2:35 p.m., according to the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner. Preliminary information from an autopsy found that he died of natural causes, but a definitive cause of death has been deferred by the department pending additional testing. A family spokesperson said he died as a result of epilepsy.

"The final cause and manner of death will be determined at a later date," a spokeswoman for the Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner said.
