Nobody wants to spend the day at the DMV, especially if it’s just to renew an auto tag.
But one Florida man learned the hard way that the pain might be worth the wait.
On Monday, Florida Highway Patrol trooper Steve Montiero pulled over a man in Orlando because his tag "didn't quite look right," WPLG reported.
That's because the tag was "renewed" by using a permanent marker, according to WPLG.
The man wasn’t fined or arrested, WPLG reported.
Instead, his “punishment” was becoming the butt of a joke, courtesy of an FHP post on Twitter.
