A Florida woman is accused of intentionally suffocating her 10-month-old son with a pillow, authorities said.
Victoria Grace Jackson, 24, of Clearwater, is charged with first-degree murder in the death earlier this year of her son, Malachi Jackson, according to arrest records.

Police arrested Jackson on Friday night, the Tampa Bay Times reported.
According to police, Jackson called 911 on May 24 and said she found her son "unresponsive" in his crib, the newspaper reported. Paramedics took the baby to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead, the Times reported.

Police continued to investigate the case. Detectives said Jackson admitted the murder to a friend, WTSP reported. She confessed to officers after being brought to Clearwater Police Department headquarters, the television station reported.
Police did not say what led Jackson to smother her son, the Times reported.
Jackson remains in the Pinellas County Jail without bond, according to booking records.
