MOUNT LAUREL, N.J. — A good Samaritan is being hailed as a hero after police said he rescued a woman from an attempted sexual assault off a New Jersey freeway.
TRUE HERO: Thank goodness John Bishop intervened when he saw a woman being attacked on the side of I-295. Glad both he & the woman he saved are okay. @NJSP believe the man arrested, Ronald Cramer, Jr., 52, may be responsible for other sexual assaults. https://t.co/HLDH5FEwyc

"Hey, what are you doing? Get off of her!" Bishop recalled telling the man, identified by police as 52-year-old Donald Cramer Jr. of Philadelphia, in a Monday interview with the Burlington County Times.
After Bishop demanded to see the man's hands, Cramer attacked him, Bishop told the newspaper.
The men wrestled until Bishop was able to subdue Cramer, police said.
"I wanted to get him up near the road, so I [dragged] him by the arm and neck up the hill and threw him over the guardrail onto Route 73," Bishop told the Times.
Three other people also pulled over to help Bishop detain Cramer until officers arrived, the newspaper reported.
Police arrested Cramer on several charges, including kidnapping, attempted sexual assault, robbery and aggravated assault.
The victim was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Her injuries were not considered life-threatening, authorities said.
Investigators said Cramer may have been involved in other sexual assaults. If you have any information, call the Bordentown Criminal Investigation Office at 609-298-1171.
