Tom Hanks, a two-time SAG Award winner who also worked with Alda in 2015’s “Bridge of Spies,” will present the award, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Alda’s recent projects, another with Tom Hanks in the upcoming “Mister Rogers” and in Disney’s live-action “Pinocchio,” won’t top his career-making turn as the affable Hawkeye in “MASH,” which ran for years on network television and garnered dozens of awards.

Alda is in good company with the SAG honor. Past recipients of the award include a star-studded list of some of the most talented people in Hollywood. Among them Katharine Hepburn, Gregory Peck, Elizabeth Taylor, Sidney Poitier, Frank Sinatra, James Earl Jones, Betty White, Pearl Bailey, Julie Andrews and the list goes on.

Megan Mullally of "Will & Grace" and theater fame, is set to host the SAG Awards on Jan. 27.
