A meteorologist in Minneapolis carried her 21-month-old son wrapped on her back while she did a live weather report on television to celebrate International Baby-Wearing Week.

Susie Martin, director of operations and meteorologist for Praedictix, said on the company's blog that she was "truly stunned" by the attention it received nationwide.

“I can see that it brought smiles to many people’s faces,” Martin wrote.

The child slept while Martin did her weather report. The wrap the boy snoozed in is called a double hammock.

"It is a very supportive carry when wearing bigger kiddos," Martin wrote on the blog. "My son is the size of a 3-year-old and weighs almost 30 pounds."

According to her biography on the Praedictix website, Martin was born in Costa Rica and moved to Florida when she was a teenager. She graduated cum laude from the University of Miami and made her television debut in Davenport, Iowa. She joined Praedictix in 2008.

Martin included a video that showed the basics of constructing the double hammock.
