Variety reported that a promotional video was posted ahead of the start of production of the latest 007 sequel, revealing that Rami Malek will be a villain in the film.

Specifics weren’t made clear, but producer Barbara Broccoli said, “We’ve got quite a ride in store for Mr. Bond.”
Broccoli said the film will start with the British secret agent on holiday in Jamaica, where the film is shooting on location.
Malek wasn't able to be in Jamaica for the video announcements, but he did hint about his role in a video message posted to the 007 Twitter page.
“I promise you all I will be making sure Mr. Bond does not have an easy ride of it in this, his 25th outing.”
