Callie Inman, 23, was arrested Thursday and is accused of violating her probation.

In 2014, Inman was charged with intoxication manslaughter and intoxication assault in a crash in Galveston, The Galveston County Daily News reported. Authorities said Inman, then 18, was under the influence of a controlled substance when she pulled into oncoming traffic and a motorcycle carrying Dana and Linda Tweedie crashed into her.

Dana Tweedie, a retired Houston police officer, died at a hospital. Linda Tweedie, also a police officer, was seriously injured.

In July 2015, Inman agreed to plead guilty to the lesser charge of criminally negligent homicide and was sentenced to five years of probation.

The agreement required that Inman not commit any crimes or use illegal drugs, the Daily News reported, citing court documents. In an April 2019 court filing, Galveston County prosecutors said Inman had been arrested on charges of possession of marijuana, possession of dangerous drugs and possession of a controlled substance. She also failed a drug test in January, according to court records

Inman was scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday.
