SAN ANTONIO — Someone abandoned a Chevrolet Impala at the San Antonio Zoo Monday, prompting officials to jokingly issue a reminder that the facility does not take in animals.
"If you find an animal in need of assistance we suggest you call our friends at Wildlife Rescue & Rehabilitation, Inc., a local non-profit that specializes in this," the zoo said on Facebook.

The driver left the car after it got stuck while crossing a bridge designed for zoo trains.
“The Park Police have your car when you are ready to pick it up,” zoo CEO Tim Morrow said in a tweet.
