The woman accused of pushing her 16-year-old friend off a Washington State bridge pleaded guilty to misdemeanor reckless endangerment Monday, The Columbian reported.
Tay'Lor Smith, 19, appeared in Clark County District Court, the newspaper reported. She is accused of pushing Jordan Holgerson off the bridge at Moulton Falls Regional Park in August.
Smith will be sentenced March 27, The Columbian reported. Her charges carry a maximum penalty of up to a year in jail and a $5,000 fine, but prosecutors are recommending a sentence with no time in jail, the newspaper reported.
Genelle Holgerson said her daughter is going to physical therapy to treat a shoulder injury and has developed anxiety, The Columbian reported.
A video of the incident, which has since been removed from social media, shows Jordan Holgerson standing at the railing of the bridge, wearing a swimsuit.
When the teen hesitates, the arms of another person appear in the video to push her off the span and into the east fork of the Lewis River.
Jordan Holgerson suffered internal injuries and five cracked ribs.
Smith was identified several days later by the Clark County Sheriff's Office as the person pushing the teen, The Columbian reported.
