Missing 14-year-old Pittsburgh girl found

PITTSBURGH — UPDATE: 5:30 a.m. Friday:

Pittsburgh Police tell Channel 11 Deja has been found and she is now getting the help she needs. Thanks for sharing her picture and getting the word out on her disappearance.

Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a 14-year-old girl.

Deja Willis-Thomas was last seen Thursday around 1 p.m. in Lawrenceville, investigators said.

According to police, Willis-Thomas is depressed and has made statements of suicide to friends.

Willis-Thomas is a black female standing about 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighing about 155 pounds.

She was last seen wearing a stripped oxford shirt, tan khaki pants and blue/black high-top Nikes.

Willis-Thomas could be in Homestead or Swissvale, investigators said.

Detectives are asking anyone who has seen Deja Willis-Thomas to call Pittsburgh police at 911 or the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police Missing Persons Office at 412-323-7141.
