U.S. Set to Debut New Hundred Dollar Bill Tuesday

High rollers will now be able to use newly designed one hundred dollar bills -- which will go into circulation October 8. Currency is primarily redesigned to stay ahead of counterfeiting threats, with the last $100 note redesigned for circulation in March, 1996. Anti-counterfeiting features include a blue three-dimensional security ribbon and alternating images of bells and the number 100 that move and change as the viewing angle is tilted.
