MONONGAHELA, Pa.,None — Some changes are coming to the Catholic church in our area.
Bishop David Zubik announced that the St. Anthony and Transfiguration parishes in Monongahela are merging.
The pairing will form St. Damien of Molokai.
The two church buildings from the former parishes will still be used.
Elsewhere in Washington County, St. Dominic in Donora will be closed.
Parishoners will be moved to the St. Phillip Neri building which will be renamed Our Lady of the Valley.
