PITTSBURGH —

Following heavy rains on Monday, the only surrounding county under a flood warning is Washington County.

As of early Monday, flood warnings had been issued for Allegheny, Washington, Westmoreland, Greene and Fayette counties.

The flood warning for Allegheny County lasted until about 10 p.m. Warnings remained in effect for Greene, Westmoreland and Fayette counties until about 11:30 p.m.

Water is expected to be above flood stage early Tuesday near Point Marion, Grays Landing, Fayette City, Charleroi and Elizabeth.

There is also a flood advisory for the Ohio River in Pittsburgh. High water will overtake the Mon Wharf Parking area Monday night through Tuesday evening.

Flood stage at the wharf is 18 feet. The current expected flood crest is at 20.5 feet during the day on Tuesday.
