According to IMDB:

"Will Smith stars in the incredible true David vs. Goliath story of Dr. Bennet Omalu, the brilliant forensic neuropathologist who made the first discovery of CTE, a football-related brain trauma, in a pro player."

The trailer opens with a shot of Heinz Field, and focuses on Omalu's clashes with the NFL.

According to Channel 11's news exchange partners at TribLIVE, the film also stars David Morse as former Steelers center Mike Webster, who was the first NFL player to be diagnosed with CTE, and Albert Brooks as Dr. Cyril Wecht.

“Concussion,” which was shot in Pittsburgh last fall, is set for release on Christmas Day.

Several other movies filmed in Pittsburgh recently are also set to be released soon.

“Love the Coopers,” which was called “Let It Snow” when it was shooting earlier this year, is scheduled to come out Nov. 13.

The cast includes John Goodman, Diane Keaton, Ed Helms, Olivia Wilde, Marisa Tomei, Amanda Seyfried and Alan Arkin.
