Winners announced in Watch Jeopardy! to Win Contest

PITTSBURGH — Dale and Ron Schrag of Lower Burrell, PA are declared the grand prize recipients of Kings Family Restaurant four day trip to Los Angeles.  The fabulous getaway to the West Coast includes airfare, ground transportation, hotel accommodations, a trip to Disneyland, and, best of all, two tickets to watch a live recording of Jeopardy.

The couple registered for the sweepstakes at Kings Butler, PA location where the couple’s friend told them about the giveaway.

Dale said, “My girlfriend Kelly is a waitress at the Kings in Butler. She told me to fill out one of the entry forms by the cash register but I thought I’d never win.”

The couple said they are really looking forward to the trip to LA.

“I want to go to Rodeo Drive.  I’ve been to Las Vegas and Disney, but I’ve never been to Los Angeles.  We’re excited to go see Jeopardy, too.  The whole trip is going to be exciting.”

When told they had won the contest, the couple said they were in total disbelief.

“I almost didn’t answer the phone because I didn’t recognize the number.  When they told me I won the trip I couldn’t believe it and asked ‘Is this a scam?!’  When I got off the phone I just started shaking I was so excited! I’m still amazed.  When we got to WPXI today I said to my husband, ‘Pinch me, am I here?’” said Dale.

The couple said they both love Kings Family Restaurant and are loyal customers.

“I love the food, the personality and the cleanliness.  Other restaurants hurry you,” said Dale.

Ron said “It’s really a family restaurant.  Everyone is personable.  That’s what I like about Kings.  And the pecan sundaes."

Monday, the couple enjoyed a complimentary lunch courtesy of Kings at WPXI and received a tour of the station.  The Dale and Ron will be taking their trip to Los Angeles is yet to be determined.
