Woman shot, wounded at party in Crafton Heights

PITTSBURGH — Police are looking for the gunman who shot and wounded a woman during a party in the Crafton Heights section of Pittsburgh.

Police said the shooting was reported at approximately 2:15 a.m. Saturday. Officials said the woman had been shot once in the right arm and once in the thigh. She was transported to Allegheny General Hospital in stable condition.

Investigators said the shooting happened at home on the 800 block of Woodlow Street. Officials said an unknown man came to a party at the house and became upset. People in the home asked him to leave, and as he was leaving, he fired several rounds into the house.

The gunman then fled on food toward Cherry Court.

No further information was available as of Saturday morning, and the shooting remains under investigation.
