Young Ross Township mother remains missing after 2 years

ROSS TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Members of a Ross Township family said they are still searching for answers in the disappearance of a loved one two years ago.

Jamie Peterson disappeared from her apartment exactly two years ago Thursday.

Ross Township searched Peterson’s home and car and said they did not find any clues.

Peterson’s family and friends gathered Thursday night for a candlelight vigil in honor of their loved one. They also asked anyone who may know anything about Peterson’s disappearance to come forward.

Friends fear Peterson’s children will never know what happened to their mother.

“They're growing up without a mom. Their mom's missing their first of everything. You have a 13- and 15-year-old that don’t have their mom to share their life with,” friend Debbie Bearley said.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Ross Township police.
