Bills T Peters Misses Start Of Minicamp

Wednesday, June 11, 2008

(Sports Network) - Buffalo Bills Pro Bowl left tackle Jason Peters was absent for the start of the team's mandatory three-day minicamp on Wednesday.

Peters also missed all of Buffalo's voluntary offseason training activities over the past four weeks and was the only Bills player who didn't attend at least one practice.

Many have speculated Peters' absence is due to a dissatisfaction with his contract, but that has not been confirmed by the Bills or Peters.

"It's not affecting our progress," head coach Dick Jauron told the team's Web site. "We'd obviously like to have him here. We've had great participation and great attendance so we'll just keep moving forward."
