Bears WR Lloyd Out

Friday, October 3, 2008

(Sports Network) - Chicago Bears wide receiver Brandon Lloyd is not expected to play in Sunday's contest against the Detroit Lions due to a knee injury he suffered against the Eagles last week.

The 27-year-old wideout, who caught two passes for 33 yards in last Sunday's 24-20 win over Philadelphia, did not participate in practice over the last three days.

In his first season with the Bears, the Illinois product has 15 receptions for 249 yards and one score.

In addition, Chicago has four players listed as questionable for the contest: wide receiver Marty Booker, cornerbacks Charles Tillman and Nathan Vasher, and tackle Chris Williams.

Booker did not practice Wednesday or Thursday with a knee problem; Tillman also did not participate due to a shoulder injury; Vasher sat with a wrist problem; Williams had limited participation in practice the last two days with a back injury.
