Ravens CB Rolle Out A Month After Neck Surgery

Friday, October 3, 2008

(Sports Network) - Baltimore Ravens cornerback Samari Rolle will be sidelined up to a month after undergoing neck surgery.

Rolle, who suffered a stinger in his neck and did not play in Monday night's loss to the Steelers, had surgery to "clean things up a little bit."

"We have a timeframe on him. It's maybe a month-plus," head coach John Harbaugh said. "That's where it's at right now. He felt the tingling and the stinger thing, then felt it through the shoulder too."

The 32-year-old Rolle had three tackles and an interception this season in two games played. He has 29 career interceptions, one for a touchdown, over 11 seasons with the Titans and Ravens.
