Owings Mills, MD -- (Sports Network) - The Baltimore Ravens placed defensive tackle Kelly Gregg on injured reserve on Wednesday.Gregg underwent season-ending microfracture surgery on his left knee on Tuesday. "We expect Kelly to fully recover from the surgery," said Ravens general manager Ozzie Newsome. "He should be ready for next spring's OTAs [Organized Team Activities]." The 31-year-old, who had not appeared in any games this season as he underwent arthroscopic surgery in his knee this past August, had not missed a contest since the 2004 season. Over his 10-year career, he has 408 tackles and 16 1/2 sacks in 105 games, three with Philadelphia and the rest with Baltimore. The team also announced on Wednesday that offensive tackle Joe Reitz, who was placed on injured reserve from the practice squad last week, had surgery on his shoulder. Both players were operated on by Dr. James Andrews in Birmingham, Alabama. To replace Gregg on the roster, the Ravens signed defensive tackle Brandon McKinney, who was released by the San Diego Chargers four days ago. Baltimore also signed cornerback Anwar Phillips to its practice squad and released defensive tackle J'Vonne Parker on Wednesday.
