Cowboys Sign Davis

Wednesday, September 3, 2008

(Sports Network) - The Dallas Cowboys signed free agent safety Keith Davis on Wednesday.

Davis, who was signed by Miami in the offseason and released last week, will be entering his sixth season in the NFL, all with Dallas.

Predominately a special teams player, the Sam Houston State product has 132 tackles and five passes defensed.

To make room on the 53-man roster, the team released cornerback Evan Oglesby.
