Report: Broncos Sign WR Jackson

POSTED: 12:00 am EDT April 17, 2008

(Sports Network) - The Denver Broncos signed veteran wide receiver Darrell Jackson to a one-year contract on Wednesday, according to the Denver Post.

The 29-year-old receiver spent seven seasons with the Seattle Seahawks before being traded to San Francisco last season. The 49ers acquired Jackson in a draft-day trade last April, and in 15 games, he caught 46 passes for 497 yards with three touchdowns.

The veteran has recorded 487 catches for 6,942 yards with 50 touchdowns and three 1,000-yard seasons over eight NFL campaigns.

The Broncos have already signed free-agent wide receivers Keary Colbert and Samie Parker this offseason.
