Denver, CO (Sports Network) - The Denver Broncos missed wide receiver Eddie Royal during Sunday's 24-17 home loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Royal is hampered by an ankle injury. The 22-year-old Royal, who is having an excellent rookie season, has 30 receptions for 321 yards and a pair of touchdowns in five games for the Broncos (4-2).

Quarterback Jay Cutler was 21-of-37 for 192 yards, with two touchdowns and one interception in Sunday's loss for Denver, which will visit the New England Patriots next Monday night.
