The Penguins’ roster could look a bit different when the 2009 season comes around.

A number of players are up for free agency next season.

This season, Penguins fans set a new team total attendance record.

More than 888,000 fans watched the Pens during the regular season and the playoffs at Mellon Arena. That means about 17,000 people attended each game.

Some of those fans had to be standing because Mellon Arena only seats 16,940.
