Caps Lock Up Specialist Gordon For One More Year

Friday, July 11, 2008

(Sports Network) - The Washington Capitals and forward Boyd Gordon agreed to a one-year contract on Friday. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The 17th overall draft pick in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft matched a career high with seven goals for the Capitals last season, adding nine assists in 67 games in his fifth professional season with Washington.
