Glendale, AZ -- (Sports Network) - The Phoenix Coyotes acquired forward Brian McGrattan from the Ottawa Senators Wednesday in exchange for a fifth-round selection in the 2009 draft.

McGrattan, 26, recorded three assists in 38 games with the Senators last season.

The rugged winger has posted two goals and eight assists with 287 penalty minutes over his 143-game NHL career, all with Ottawa since 2005.
