Eastern Seaboard
This NOAA satellite image taken Sunday, April 22, 2012 at 12:45 a.m. EDT shows clouds cover the Eastern Seaboard as a strong low pressure system strengthens over the Southeast. This system continues pulling moisture and energy onshore, producing scattered showers and thunderstorms from the Northeast through the Southeast. Snow showers develop along the northern edge of this system, due to cooler air pouring in from Canada.
