PITTSBURGH -- Myron Cope predicted the Steelers would be dealing with a 2 and 5 record Sunday. On Friday he told Channel 11 he saw Sunday's game as an omen. The Steelers played the Raiders on the anniversary of the great stock-market crash of 1929.Steeler fans are certainly depressed and although the broadcasting legend told Channel 11’s Trisha Pittman Monday that he didn't want to predict that loss, he couldn't ignore the eerie similarities.Cope said that he doesn't intend on predicting all of the Steelers’ games for the rest of the season. It was just something about this game and the date that clicked in his head and lead to his prognosticating."It looks like that way, but I can't predict how they'll play on any given Sunday," said Cope. Not only was Cope right about the loss, he was also right about the Super Bowl Champs loosing by seven points.
