RALEIGH -- Bill Cowher has been hired by CBS to work its "NFL Today" studio show.Cowher resigned as the Steelers' coach last month after 15 seasons on the job, and less than a year after winning the Super Bowl. He said he wants to spend more time with his family in Raleigh, North Carolina, but working on the CBS show will allow him to keep his ties to the league.Cowher doesn't rule out a return to coaching but says he's planning on doing TV work for a couple of years.Cowher also says he won't have problems critiquing his former team, saying it'll be no different than doing so from the Steelers' sideline.CBS is adding Cowher to the mix without jettisoning any of the other analysts. James Brown returns as the host, with former players Dan Marino, Shannon Sharpe and Boomer Esiason and former NFL general manager Charlie Casserly alongside.- More Steelers News
