PITTSBURGH -- Steelers’ safety Anthony Smith is guaranteeing a win Sunday at New England.That's when the Steelers will face the undefeated Patriots.The Steelers locker room was open Thursday afternoon and Channel 11's Alby Oxenreiter talked to Smith about his prediction.Smith said he's standing by word. Several of Smith's teammates have talked to him about being so candid with the media, but he's not backing down. Smith wouldn't repeat his guarantee, but added that he doesn't regret what he said.

Receiver Santonio Holmes, who's trying to get back in the lineup after a high ankle sprain, said he felt much better Thursday. Holmes returned to practice on Wednesday, and admits he was sore after that workout. Holmes plans on playing Sunday.Tackle Marvel Smith was also back in practice on Thursday.Safety Troy Polamalu did not practice Thursday.
