A civil consent agreement was worked out during a hearing Monday involving Pittsburgh Steeler Cedrick Wilson and his ex-girlfriend.

Lindsey Paulat, 26, was in a 12-hour standoff with police inside Wilson's Pine Township home last weekend. According to a protection-from-abuse court order Wilson obtained against Paulat, the mother of his 1-year-old daughter, Anya, he left the home after she kicked him then sat on the trunk of his car, yelling at him.

Wilson contends Paulat called to tell him, "I have a gun and am going to shoot myself," and later, "I shot the gun but missed my head," before he called police, the document said. Wilson said the woman has attempted suicide in the past.

Police have said the handgun gun belongs to Wilson. Paulat was charged with aggravated assault and reckless endangerment in the incident.

During Monday's hearing, both sides agreed to a custody visitation plan. Wilson was at the hearing, but Paulat was not.

Paulat arrived at Magistrate’s Court for arraignment Monday afternoon. She had been undergoing a psychiatric evaluation since her arrest.

"I think, basically, she doesn't have any mental issues per se. This was just a buildup of a lot of personal issues that caused this meltdown so to speak," said Jerome Deriso, Paulat’s attorney.

Paulat is under house arrest on $50,000 bond and faces a hearing on Friday.
