Steelers wide receiver Santonio Holmes will be inactive for Sunday's game against the New York Giants after his Thursday afternoon arrest for marijuana possession.

Head coach Mike Tomlin said he has spoken with Holmes about the situation

"When you're a great team, there will be distractions," Tomlin said.

Wide receiver Nate Washington will start in place of Holmes.

Running back Willie Parker is listed as doubtful for the game. Offensive tackle Marvel Smith will not play. Defensive end Aaron Smith will likely miss the game for personal reasons, too, Tomlin said. The Steelers said Smith has their total support.
