"I'm going to sleep with it," said Steelers safety Ryan Clark. "But I was trying to rub my head, and I knocked myself out. I'm going to take it off, I guess in the morning."

"On the inside, it's engraved 'MVP,'" said Super Bowl XLIII MVP Santonio Holmes. "It's on a security check right now. It can't come off. It's going to be on for a little while. Probably the rest of the night. I'm going to end up sleeping with it."

Channel 11's Rich Walsh reported that the rings cost $15,000 each and weigh in at 3.7 ounces. Offensive lineman Max Starks is rumored to wear the largest ring; a size 19.

The ring showcases six round, brilliant cut diamonds that surround a Steelers logo. Each gem is supposed to signify one of the team's six Super Bowl victories. The Steelers logo is formed with yellow, red and blue stones, similar to the team's Super Bowl XL victory rings.

There are seven diamonds at each tip of a football shape located in the middle of the ring. Those diamonds are meant to recognize the organization's seven AFC championships. The combined 14 diamonds is meant to represent the team's number of division titles.

On one side the ring, there is a depiction of six Lombardi Trophies rising out of the center of Heinz Field. The score of the game is also on this side of the ring, along with the official Super Bowl XLIII logo.

The other side of the ring has the ringholder's name and jersey number on it, along with a Steelers helmet and NFL logo.

According to the Steelers' Web site, the ring incorporates 63 round, brilliant cut diamonds totaling 3.61 carats.

On Monday, head coach Mike Tomlin hosted a golf outing in Collier Township, where he talked about Tuesday's event.

"We're excited about it. More importantly, this is an opportunity to get the ring and lay the '08 season to bed, if you will. We want to focus all our energy on '09. This will be the final chapter of the '08 season," Tomlin said.
